Summer notes:Annette has reserved August 11th for her Carlingford walk.
It’s natural to have some longer walks during the summer months but do be aware that quite a few of the Grade 2 walks are not too difficult and, assuming clement weather, will suit regular Grade 3 walkers also.
Training Day: this has been deferred to the autumn, most likely in September. It’s for anyone who is interested in learning some basic navigation skills. It’s important that we gain some new Grade 3 walk leaders as the demand for Grade 3 walks has increased and the leaders are all from the same pool of regular Grade 2 walkers. It would make a big difference to have a few more walk leaders.
